Folks, our beloved Patrick Swayze has died at the age of 57. We all know Patrick from a number of films that have made us cry ,laugh,and fall in love. Patrick Swayze died of pancreatic cancer, his publicist Annette Wolf, told CNN. We all loved his movies mine was Too wong foo where he dressed as a drag queen. Dirty dancing was my second, he also sang on the movie's sound track "Shes like the wind" . If you didn't hear it please listen to it. He sand that song with so much heart.

Pancreatic cancer begins in the tissues of your pancreas . This is a large organ that lies horizontally behind the lower part of the stomach. We are told that it often has a poor prognosis ,even when it is diagnosed early. Pancreatic cancer will spread very rapidly and is not detected in early stages.
Signs and Symptoms may not appear if the disease is advanced and surgery is not possible.
Here are the symptoms of the disease when the do appear
There is the yellowing of the skin and the white of your eyes ( Jaundice)
You have no appetite you even lose weight and depression .
Risk factors are smoking, being over weight and obese.
A personal family history of pancreatic cancer.
Older age pancreatic cancer often occurs in older adults . Most people are diagnosed are in their
70s to 80s.
Pancreatic cancer occurs more frequently in blacks than whites.
When to see your doctor. If you are having unexplained weight loss, stomach pain, jaundice , or other signs and symptoms that bother you please see your doctor.
